A criminologist, researcher, and corrections professional focused on preventing problems before they become crises. With a diploma in justice studies from Bow Valley College, a strategic leadership and management specialization in organizational leadership from Gies College Chicago, a B.A. in philosophy, and a master’s in criminology from the University of Lagos, I bring together academic knowledge and professional experience across crime research, youth justice, corrections, risk management, and community safety to understand the causes, patterns, and risks associated with crime.

I also bring four years of professional experience in banking dispute management and credit-card operations, where I developed expertise in investigating financial disputes, reviewing complex cases, resolving customer and transactional issues, managing risk, and working within established policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.

My career includes conducting three major crime-related research projects, including work for UNICEF and the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, as well as working with children and youth in conflict with the law in Canadian group-home settings. I currently work within Alberta’s criminal justice system, where I continue to build frontline experience in corrections, safety, risk management, and working with individuals in the justice system.
